What has been your best approach to attract intern talent? I am curious on the methods, channels that worked for you.

I used Craigslist and I know many people have too. But there is a real issue in the recruitment market that many many jobs are essentially ghost jobs. So the companies are more posting them for marketing purposes (getting competitors to believe they are doing well, cheap way of people hearing about them) or on the very low chance someone amazingly perfect maybe applying. So the behaviors of applicants has changed with this dynamic. There was a whole other thread with great advice on structuring internships that clearly shows recent searchers have really upped the game. But I think you're talking about essentially widening the funnel to find potential interns rather than the conversion and optimization of the use of interns. So a funny, clever, educational posting is the gold standard. Then where to post it depends on whether you'd like a wide net (craigslist) or one with likely highly knowledgeable (about search funds) potentials (search funder). Or of course a million places in between. Default is likely indeed. If it were me id be doing the leg work to get in touch with the clubs at colleges and business schools.

There are great intern candidates on this platform, Raja. Create a job with a detailed description and expectation - be specific. Then you'll receive candidate inquiries and can interview a handful of the top applicants. It worked well for me.
