What is a good recession proof manufacturer or distributor?

I'm currently searching for an "essential" discrete manufacturing business which has a component of distribution or direct-to-user sale that can be expanded?  Any input on which industry or model would be greatly appreciated.

We are a contract manufacturer and serve a lot of industries. We try to look at our business as a portfolio of industries we serve with the goal of being diversified so we succeed across cycles. It is very hard to predict. For example, I always avoided Recreational vehicles, thinking that any hit in the economy would hurt sales. Of course, once COVID hit most of my "safe" industries took a hit while RV took off. Right now we are seeing strong utilities, defense, and food service.
