While I agree that institutional investing and lending perspectives largely seem hesitant, I have been surprised to find that individual investors are still willing to be active (depending on the merit of the deal of course). I feel like many have learned the lessons from the last recession and are interested in finding opportunities among the crisis. Note also that I am in the Midwest which has not been hit as badly as much of the country.

I agree with James: The individual investors in my network seem eager and optimistic about investment opportunities. (Please note: I'm a self-funded searcher, so I'm only speaking with investors about a potential acquisition investment, not a search investment.)
