I lead M&A for a CPG aggregator and I'm curious what other buyers place value on in their acquisitions, especially in other industries. Obviously, high margins, growth trajectory, untapped opportunity, recurring revenue streams, large database of active/engaged customers, low competition, etc. But what are some of the less common qualities you value in a business that you want to acquire and why?

High floor/durability of the business. As a solo searcher, have to protect my downside.

Sustainable competitive advantages. Works for me and my clients, and Warren Buffett.
