Sorry if this has been posted ad nauseum - I'm newer to the space and I want to stay up to date with things that are happening in the ETA/Micro PE/Operator world. It's great to browse the posts here but I was wondering what news sites, periodicals, news letters, etc. do people check regularly to stay updated. (e.g. The years I was full fledged in the Silicon Valley startup world everybody went to HackerNews).

Searchfunder is 🤌 but there are a few other communities worth checkng out as well: https://evergoldpartners.com/best-online-eta-communities-for-searchers/ Also highly recommend this New Searcher Reader Guide as a primer: https://bigdealsmallbusiness.substack.com/p/new-searcher-reader-guide###-###-####

Agree on Searchfunder. Email lists via Helen at SMBDealHunter & Sam at SMBootcamp can be interesting. I still find myself getting some good nuggets from the well-known podcasts (e.g., Acquiring Minds & Think Big, Buy Small). The biggest leaps come from actual conversations - in particular I love what I've learned from independent sponsors & pre-process M&A advisors. They're deliberately opaque, but there are more of them in your network than you realize
