Can anyone give a bit of insight on how you chose to enter the business vertical you acquired into, and were there any other business verticals you contemplated on entering, and chose not to?
How important is having prior knowledge of the industry you’re acquiring into, or is it just an optional perk?
I'd appreciate any insight :)

I'd recommend reading some of our interviews. You can find them using "Searchfunder Interview" (in quotes) in the search bar on your Timeline page. We do ask nearly everyone we interview about their experience in the industry in which they acquired.
