Overview Work directly alongside CEO Himmat Singh and COO Kevin Durbin to help scale EPI-Colorspace into a larger platform over the next 3–5 years. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial operator who wants more than a traditional executive role. It is an opportunity to help build, grow, and professionalize a lower middle market business with a potential pathway to CEO or platform leadership within 2–3 years. The right candidate will run alongside leadership, take ownership of strategic initiatives, and have a direct impact on how we test, execute, and scale growth opportunities across the business. About the Business EPI-Colorspace is a Gaithersburg, MD-based company specializing in large-format printing, fabrication, and installation of signage, exhibits, displays, branded environments, and tradeshow solutions. Founded in 2003, the company has built a strong reputation across the DMV and supports clients across real estate, hospitality, healthcare, universities, museums, cultural institutions, and national tradeshow programs. Our team provides design, fabrication, installation, and white-glove execution for high-impact visual environments. The company was acquired by Himmat through his family office, Maximus Capital Partners, and is being actively operated and scaled as part of a broader strategy focused on building a platform in the graphics, signage, exhibits, and tradeshow services space. The Opportunity We believe EPI-Colorspace has the potential to grow 5x over the next three years through a combination of organic growth, operational improvements, technology-enabled execution, and add-on acquisitions. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond advisory work and help build real enterprise value from inside the business. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, helping drive initiatives across sales, marketing, operations, technology, and M&A. This role may be structured flexibly at the outset, including part-time, hybrid, or remote, but the long-term opportunity is for someone who can become a true operating partner in the platform we are building. What You’ll Work On • Growth strategy, market mapping, and platform development • Sales and marketing initiatives, including outreach, positioning, channel strategy, and campaign execution • Technology-enabled growth opportunities using AI, automation, data mining, and workflow tools • Operational improvement, process design, and KPI development • Financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development • Evaluation of acquisition targets and support for diligence and integration planning • Building scalable systems, processes, and management routines What We’re Looking For • Strong interest in entrepreneurship, private equity, ETA, search funds, or lower middle market operating roles • Experience or strong capability in strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or technology • Ability to think analytically while also driving execution • Comfort with ambiguity, pace, and imperfect information • Strong work ethic and a get-things-done mindset • High ownership mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and willingness to operate at both strategic and tactical levels • Curiosity, humility, and a willingness to try, fail, learn, and repeat quickly Compensation & Incentives This role may be structured as a paid or unpaid position depending on the candidate’s experience, fit, and scope of involvement. For a paid role, compensation may include: • Base compensation of up to $45,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications • Sales commission and performance-based incentives tied to clearly defined growth metrics, including EBITDA growth • Target total compensation of $150,000+ annually for strong performance against agreed-upon metrics • Potential equity, options, or ownership participation of 5–10%, based on specific milestones, tangible outcomes, and long-term fit For the right candidate, this role is intended to provide meaningful upside tied to enterprise value creation, with the potential to participate in the growth of the platform over time. What You’ll Gain • A potential pathway to CEO or platform leadership within 2–3 years • Direct exposure to building and scaling a lower middle market business • Opportunity to help shape organic and acquisition-driven growth strategy • Ability to create meaningful enterprise value over a 3–5 year horizon • Close partnership with operators and investors focused on building a scalable platform How to Apply To apply, please send your resume and a short note, roughly 5 sentences, not a full cover letter, outlining: •Why this opportunity interests you • One idea you would want to explore or test in the business Send to Himmat Singh at redacted
