About Axia Advisors
Axia is a boutique sell-side M&A advisory firm built specifically for the roofing industry. We exist to help blue-collar entrepreneurs exit the right way, with strategy, empathy, and a firm built by someone who’s been in their shoes.
Axia is led by Sean Shapiro, former founder and CEO of Reliant Roofing, which I scaled to $25M+ in revenue and sold to private equity in###-###-#### Since launching Axia, we’ve developed a strong reputation and consistent inbound deal flow in a space few other firms truly understand.
We’re now looking for a full-time execution partner, not just an employee, to help us scale.
The Role
You’ll be the internal lead for M&A execution. Once we engage a client, you’ll take it from there: recasting financials, managing diligence, coordinating buyer interactions, and guiding clients through the entire deal process.
We have support in place for CIM development and outreach, you’ll lead everything else. This is a hands-on, high-trust role with real ownership.
This is not a traditional W2 job. If you’re looking for structure, bureaucracy, or big-bank hierarchy, this isn’t it. If you want autonomy, a clear lane, and the chance to help build something special alongside a founder who’s done it, this could be a fit.
What You’ll Own
• Lead all post-engagement M&A execution: client onboarding → buyer LOI → close
• Recast financials and build EBITDA bridges
• Populate and manage virtual data rooms and diligence workflows
• Interface with clients, buyers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Flag risks, keep timelines on track, and ensure deals stay clean
• Maintain deal pipeline and create repeatable internal playbooks
• Collaborate with Sean on deal strategy, structure, and negotiation prep
You Might Be a Fit If…
• You’ve got 2-5 years of M&A, investment banking, or private equity experience
• You’ve worked on lower middle market deals and know what real execution looks like
• You’re fluent in financial modeling, normalization, and owner add-backs
• You’ve worked with founder-led or blue-collar businesses or are eager to learn the space
• You thrive in fast-moving, lean environments with high autonomy
• You want to build, not just execute
Compensation & Structure
• Competitive base salary
• Percentage of success fees on closed deals
• Long-term equity/profit-sharing upside for the right person
• Remote-first, flexible work environment
• No sales expectations—just high-quality execution
Why This Is Different
• You’ll work directly with a founder who’s built and sold a $25M business in the exact space we serve
• You’ll have ownership and autonomy, not a cubicle or pitchbook treadmill
• You’ll be part of a firm with real traction, a defined niche, and massive white space to grow
