Who is having a harder time raising capital? early stage venture raising VC capital or searchers? Anecdotally it seems like VC funds are overcapitalized yet are pulling back on deploying capital in light of recession fears. What has your experience been?

Startups at the pre-seed and seed stage, even Series A, are having a better time than later stage startups because the later stage companies likely raised at inflated valuations earlier that are now hard to justify. I think overall searchers are having an easier time since they aren't carrying this baggage, though the financing terms to get deals done are worse, which is killing some deals. And investors into search know this so may be slowing capital there as well.
