Valuing FCC Spectrum

I am working with a business owner on a potential sale and have come to a potential sticking point around valuing a particular asset, FCC Spectrum. He has asked for a valuation for this asset separate from his business as he has indicated these licenses exponentially increase the value of his business.
Does anyone have experience in this space that would be able to advise?

Hi Christopher, it has been many years since I've dealt with a fair value exercise involving an FCC Spectrum license. That being said, I know that it is valuable and they used to have auctions for these assets. I did a quick search on Google and found this article that might give you some broad insight (not enough to get you to your asset's value).
