Value hiring a CPA and attorney?

I am new to business acquisition. Recently spotted a business opportunity with inflated COGS. I am reviewing their CIM with AI. The AI seems to give professional advice what details to follow up with the agent. Is there any value hiring a CPA and an attorney? The cost of using them is not low. Edit: how much do I need to pay for hiring CPA & Attorney? Is it by hourly fee? At what point do I need to engage with professionals?

Tracking with Stefan, which AI are you using? What are your guide querries? Are you running against at least a second source of truth? If you can spin up a GPU or a shell for full privacy, and use expendable credentials, Clawdbot/Moltbot can build you a full analysis tool in a couple of hours then complete the analysis. If you don't have access or AI skills (as in AI tools and use of the word "skills" as AI requires) you can go with OPUS 4.5 and spin up and a half day or less. You won't have the mistakes this way however it's a different level of approach than ChatGPT, Perplexity etc. You'll be using the world without the AI Labs for incredible results. That said, prompt injection is real, don't do this unless you know the security requirements.

1. If you signed an NDA, I would be careful putting any confidential information into any AI platform. 2. If you do want to upload proprietary financial data to an AI platform, I’d recommend double-checking the numbers anyway. Accountants run the numbers for you and can do a QofE, lawyers will draft up a more legally sound LOI and contract agreement and will give you better advice. AI can tell you what it knows based on the info you provide, good professionals can see problems in advance. Once again, I would stress being extremely cautious about uploading confidential info into any AI platforms.
