Useful frameworks leveraged in evaluation process...?

Does anyone have any frameworks or filters that they've found particularly helpful as they've run different opportunities through their funnel? Table stakes being they already have a diverse customer base, preferably some kind of recurring revenue, etc... but are there certain criteria that you've found of more value than others? (ie own their own building? principal-agent arbitrage when it comes to spending for the product/service?)
