Searchfunder Universe-

I ran across a seller who wants us to sign an NDA with an indefinite timeframe. This seems a bit excessive to me as I typically see ranges from one to 10 years- and even 10 years is rare. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks.

I have come across a couple of brokers who insist on indefinite period NDAs due to their "commitment to confidentiality." I pushed back highlighting that the NDA also required the buyer to return / destroy all information at the seller's request. Still, broker didn't budge. Some are just more professional than others.

I had one like that.Pushed back and got it down to a realistic timeframe. You could also ask why they want that long?Is there some particular thing, like product formulation/recipe that they are overly sensitive about? If so, just exclude that from the conversation and get the NDA timeframe more normalized.
