What are typical amortization terms you are seeing for unitranche debt in the lower to middle market? We have a deal we are working on and have a few terms sheets and wanted to compare with what others are seeing in the space.

Amortization can range from 1-10% per annum depending on industry, Ebitda, leverage and LTV. Typically a bank will skew towards the higher end and the direct lenders/ no banks will generally be ok with 1-5%. Direct lenders will offset this with high rates and fees.

Matt, I'm looking at a deal that may be using unitranche. I would love to see what you may have found if you have time to chat. Thanks in advance.
