Undervalued Targets

Curious to hear from searchers that are focused on undervalued opportunities if they are looking for specific deficiencies to remedy. I would imagine its based on prior experience, but I hope this post creates of list of value-creating actions. Thanks.

Like the great Eugene Kleiner said, “It’s difficult to see the picture when you’re inside the frame.” During the search, I don’t think I spoke to a business that I felt was maximizing every opportunity they had. Lots had passive owners who left the day-to-day to an individual or a group that was great a blocking-and-tackling, but had zero strategy around how they’re growing the business.
