The goal is to give you a valuable experience as we find a small business to acquire and manage. You will have the opportunity to do critical work for the company and receive training and guidance from the Founder. By the end of the internship, you should have experience researching and pitching potential acquisition targets, communicating with potential sellers, building financial models, preparing valuations and more. If that sounds interesting, and you have a good attitude and desire to learn, we’d love to learn more about you!

Responsibilities will include

• Create investment theses based on industry research and pitch to President • Generate lists of company leads • Prepare outreach materials (emails and letters) to send to acquisition targets • Review potential acquisitions and recommend go/no-go to Founder • Build DCF and LBO financial models and perform company valuations with Founder • Attend business education sessions led by Founder (topics may include MBA-level financial modeling, negotiations, leadership, and more)


• Positive attitude • Desire to learn • High standards and attention to detail • Willing and able to work independently and meet deadlines and quotas • Undergraduate or graduate student • Majoring in Business, Economics, Finance, or related subjects • Interested in raising or self-funding a search fund or working in investment banking, private equity, sales, business development, entrepreneurship, or related fields • Experience in at least one of the above fields is preferred but not required
