UK Underwriting Reality Check.

Quick question for lenders active in UK industrial and engineering services. When a business has long standing customer relationships, experienced staff, and clear operational delivery capability, how much weight is currently placed on forward operational visibility versus historical presentation formats? Trying to align deal preparation with how credit committees are actually thinking today rather than legacy templates.

Hi Derrick, lenders will typically look at (a) assets, (b) sustainable earnings subject to size and visibility; (c) operator credibility. For sustainable earnings yes they will place considerably more weight on what has been delivered in the past than on forecasts
