Transition planning is key! Good on you for thinking about it. Email me for links to an article we wrote on this very topic. We had input from operators and investors in the ecosystem. Also ask for links to join our weekly office hours were we talk about the qualitative aspects to acquisition including these types of topics. ^redacted‌.

Be sure to confer with your lawyer and accountant about the kinds of issues they've seen go wrong for the kind and size of company you're going to acquire.. That kind of specificity is way more valuable than checklists that try to cover the kitchen sink of possibilities.
