Hi Eli,
I believe almost all traditional search resources would work well for self-funded route. As a good summary to start I would recommend Search Funds & Entrepreneurial Acquisitions by Jan Simon, Yale case studies from AJ Wasserstein and searchfunder as a great free alternative!
You don't get same level of support from investors but I'd suggest you to think about having sort of a 2-3 investment professionals board who will help you in analysing your targets - check them across people you know who are rooting for your success and can professionally contribute
