If anyone has any advice on how to effectively outbound SMB owners to try and acquire their business then please share!

Below are just some questions that I have but any tips on this topic are welcomed:

- Are there any good books, blogs, etc. on the subject?
- I'm partial to Apollo.io for this kind of work but let me know if you recommend a different tool?
- I believe those who employ this strategy use SIC codes is that right? How are they using them?

Agreed with Linkedin connect + email (or call + email).

FWIW though, getting the right owner (and their email) is the most important part. Good personalization can help a bit.

Our free(mium) Google Chrome extension can help find owners + validate emails + personalize in bulk: https://workspace.google.com/u/0/marketplace/app/cohesive_ai/###-###-####

We also have a free Google Maps scraper to find local SMBs: https://platform.cohesiveapp.com/webscrapers/google-maps

I've found Apollo and Sales Navigator to be strong tools. Hit them on LinkedIn connect + email as a nice one-two punch and you're likely to get their attention.
