Tips for people new to SMB Acquisition

As the title says I am new to SMB acquisition and looking to learn as much as I can before jumping in. Any resources you would recommend or things you would have done differently knowing what you know now would be appreciated!

HBR & Stanford ETA books, Think like an Owner and other podcasts. This forum (great for more specific questions). Find 1-2 mentors who've done it. Then develop some preliminary search criteria & investors/lenders/advisors so you can dive in and learn on the move...

A Team is very important! Look for a team with the skills you need but don't have! As well as look for people who have already been their done that and made those mistakes! You can learn a lot and avoid lots of mistakes in the future!
