I have noticed a few interesting products evolve over the past several months and was looking to change up a few things?

CRM / Email Distributions - what the best for small M&A shops? So much integrates easily with Hubspot but it seems like overkill - any other suggestions?

LinkedIn Sales Navigator - anyone have experience with FinalScout or LinkedCRM as scraper overlays to LinkedIn ? Very Interesting.

Optionality.ai also looks like something that could be big###-###-#### They are building out Growth & Exit Roadmaps, Acquirer & Target Lists, Teaser Generator, and a CIM Generator. Know of anything similar?

My tech stack has shifted significantly from the start. At first I was on;
-GHL for my CRM and general cold outreach
-Apollo.io for lead lists
-Google docs/Dropbox for data rooms

That was pretty much it. I shifted over to building my own scraping tool, and it worked well enough. However the issue is it was inadequate at finding company specifics, plus it was a little too rudimentary to incorporate into other tools once I outgrew my other tools.

Now my tech stack has shifted to being far more technical. While I would highly advise simplicity is best, and even going purely manual if you're hit by paralysis by analysis, if you have the tech savviness (or patience) to wrap all of these APIs into a frontend you can make some incredibly powerful internal tools with simplified workflows.

-Airtable for CRM
-Smartleads for emailing
-ocean.io + Apollo for expanded lead lists
-Millionverifier for contact info enrichment
-Twillio for SMS and phone calls. There's a service for cold calling out there called Salesfinity that has an API, but I don't know how good it is or if it's really supported.
-Amazon S3 for secured cloud storage. One could alternatively use pCloud for their lifetime storage deals, but I also can't vouch for their API at all.

If anyone wants to chat about this in more detail feel free to DM me or email me at redacted

this is a repeat of what i posted in another thread but relevant for this as well. I use FileMaker Pro for managing deal flow and built a custom CRM in an afternoon tailored to my funnel and the typical deal calculations I use. It integrates with my tools like a web scraper to import listings and automates outreach to brokers, including my buyer profile and deal insights. I’ve also added an AI assistant with ChatGPT to summarize metrics, create “why I’d buy” scenarios, and draft emails for brokers. Though I’ve only used this for a dozen deals this year, I appreciate FileMaker’s flexibility for customization. For most, established CRMs like Zoho, Monday, or HubSpot might be more efficient, but for those who enjoy customizing, FileMaker Pro is excellent.
