Hey everyone, I've been thinking about how technology is continually advancing, and there's a lot of excitement(anxiety) around the role of AI going forward. Curious to hear your thoughts on the role of AI in the SMB space. As it pertains to those in search, what do you think would be virtually 'AI-proof' businesses aside from service based business requiring human labor (plumbing, electrical, trades, etc)? On the flip side, which types of businesses do you think could be optimized using AI that would remain enduring?

There are no safe companies and AI will eventually be used in every company. Two solid examples that apply to service are estimating and knowledge management. We are using AI right now for a client that taps into their entire operating history and stored files to prevent welding problems before they occur by analyzing the exact metals used, their exact chemistry, amps, volts, travel speed and actual weld operators prior results to give detailed recommendations on what parameters to use while welding and monitor the process while doing so. Defects are down by 98%.
