I have led turnarounds in manufacturing, and I have found the core problems are always the same. I prioritize a people first approach, focusing on understanding what is happening on the floor. When you listen to your team, they buy into the vision and help create magical results. My first and most critical step in any turnaround is spending time to fully understand the problem. Without this foundation, any solution is just a shot in the dark. This is how I have consistently driven 30 to 40% improvements in gross margin. So I ask these critical Questions for Growth every single time to get the truth of the situation: * Are we tracking the right KPIs? I look to see if the team is overwhelmed by too many metrics and if everyone knows their top priorities. * Is the data reliable? I dig into the data to ensure it accurately reflects what is happening, as it often tells a different story than people expect. * Is there a clear connection between high-level metrics like gross margin and daily operational metrics like units processed? This focus on the right data and a deep understanding of the people doing the work is what bridges the gap between executives and the shop floor. It unifies all the stories into one that makes sense for everyone, and it is how I turn chaos into clarity and build a business that can scale sustainably. I am confident this approach can drive significant growth for the right partner. I would love to connect and share more.
