The Energy Industry: My first professional love and heartache.

I wrote my legal paper in law school about energy law. I did a corporate counsel externship at an energy company. Immediately out of law school, I ran title for an energy brokerage (and was let go by the industry cycle). I got back in some years later at another brokerage (and again was let go by the cycle).

I have been out of the industry for a while now, but am curious the state of the industry as it relates to the energy business supply chain. Is anyone seeing deals out there? Not on the E&P side, but in the supply-chain like manufacturing?
