SBA pre-approved deal for the acquisition of a small recruiting firm. Seeking equity financing to cover the gap between the valuation and the loan amount. The industry is outside of the typical SBA profile, but my background and experience are highly relevant to this deal. I have spent the majority of my career in the industry as a recruiter and account manager for a recruiting agency, then leading strategy & ops and M&A for a PE-backed recruiting firm, and now currently working in M&A advisory in the recruiting/human capital space. This business is highly differentiated in that it heavily employs automation and a scalable, repeatable business model, which lends itself to very high margins and repeat business.
