SUPER BRIEF ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO ACQUIRE COMPANIES
There are two things we have learned in our years of operations:
1) Never trust a contractor to fix something you don't know how to do yourself. Whether its law, accounting, or sales outsourcing to solve a whole in your operations is too big risk to take. Just focus on improving your own ability.
2) Do things your way. If you try to copy the "correct" way of doing a thing you will almost always do worse than leaning into your strengths.
That's it - short sweet and likely to anger armchair investors.
