Brydon partners with a group of six CEOs-in-Residence (CIRs) each year to search for, acquire and operate a business within the United States. Brydon’s three partners have had multiple successful exits in software, multi-decade experience in large cap private equity (Blackstone, Carlyle), and extensive public service backgrounds. We are passionate about helping our fellows learn more about private equity and search as well as develop their abilities and judgment as both investors and operators. This unique fellowship is perfect for a MBA student interested in both private equity and ETA. In this role, you will gain experience evaluating deals, conducting due diligence and networking with the top ETA investors and searchers. We are looking for an MBA fellow to: Conduct research on specific industry theses and topics Develop and implement sourcing strategies Evaluate active deals, including supporting due diligence, developing deal memos, etc. Attend investment meetings with Brydon CIRs Produce educational materials and coordinate events in the ETA space Help develop and implement operating systems to support new CEOs post-acquisition Ideal background: Current MBA student (open to 1st and 2nd years) Passion and interest in Entrepreneurship through Acquisition and/or private equity Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, experience with financial modeling and ability to quickly synthesize key information Enjoy SMB content (podcasts, research, Twitter) & interested in contributing to the ecosystem Bonus points if you have previous background in consulting, investment banking, or private equity Location: Job is virtual but we are also happy to host you our Washington, DC office.
