Antaeus Partners is seeking a motivated summer intern to support our acquisition search, market research, and diligence efforts. This is a good fit for someone interested in private equity, entrepreneurship through acquisition, small business investing, or lower middle market M&A. The Antaeus Partners team brings prior experience across Bank of America, Evercore, Summit Partners, and Madison Dearborn Partners, and interns will receive hands-on mentorship as well as exposure to our network of investors and investment bankers. The intern will work directly with the principals of Antaeus Partners and will get exposure to the full acquisition process, including industry screening, company sourcing, broker outreach, financial analysis, and investment memo preparation. Responsibilities may include: Conducting market research on attractive industries and fragmented service sectors Identifying potential acquisition targets, brokers, and intermediaries Building and maintaining company and deal-tracking databases Reviewing CIMs, teasers, financials, and other deal materials Preparing short investment summaries and industry overviews Supporting financial analysis, including revenue trends, margins, SDE / EBITDA adjustments, and valuation multiples Helping draft outreach materials to brokers, business owners, and industry contacts Assisting with diligence workstreams for active acquisition opportunities Qualifications Ideal candidates will have: Strong interest in investing, entrepreneurship, private equity, or small business acquisitions Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills High attention to detail and ability to work independently Comfort with Excel / Google Sheets and basic financial analysis Ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely Prior internship experience in finance, consulting, startups, search funds, or business operations is helpful but not required
