With the advent of AI, the internet, and Usain Bolt, the world is faster than ever. Let's take a moment to help others speed up in this community. Let's swap stories about the people or lessons that have been most impactful to you. I'll start.

During my college years, I got incredibly down on myself. The tools and skills I'd used up to that point were spent and no longer serving me effectively. It carved out a good chunk of my confidence and I walked around like a deflated balloon. I felt surrounded by vibrant and exciting people who went from success to success and that just made it sting more.

I knew I had to change, but how?

I was stuck in the middle of living my actual life. Stuck in the routine, stuck in the situation, stuck by myself. There was no silver bullet that would turn this around. I needed to develop the skills I was missing but I couldn't do it alone. So I implemented a rule that I would meet a new person every single day. I would slap on a smile and try to connect with a new person. That move helped me to develop so many small skills that I was able to gain my confidence back and move on bigger and better things. Today, I don't need this rule anymore. I've leveled up and was able to connect with that vibrant, exciting crowd in a meaningful way.

I look back on this time and sometimes feel embarrassed but it get's me excited to see how much farther I can go. Transformation doesn't happen alone. There are people out there who want to see you win. Taking the first step and extending your hand is the simplest arbitrage.

Hope this keeps you moving FAST.
