Thanks for the tag ^Searchfunder member‌! I have been searching for a business in this space for a couple months now and have talked with many owners. I have found that, generally, coming from a non-clinical background, there have been some questions w/r/t experience. With that said, most believe that growing their practice requires someone to come in and help operationalize the practice, put a clear marketing strategy in place, be cognizant of purchases, etc., and if the owner is also a provider, they tend to not have enough capacity to do it all. So, to answer your quesiton, it obviously depends, but most have been quite receptive and open to having a non-clinical person come in and run the business. Hope this helps
