Southeast multifamily landscape install: slowing down, or just a pause?
I’m an Atlanta-based searcher looking at a commercial landscape install business. Most of its work is subcontracted from apartment builders across the Southeast. My read is that multifamily starts fell sharply in 2025, so install subs feel it in 2026 andredactedIs that what you’re seeing? - Next 1 to 2 years: Fewer bids, thinner backlogs, tighter pricing? - 3+ years: When does multifamily come back, and what brings it back? - Segments: Are senior and affordable holding up better than market-rate? - Playbook: How are install shops adapting? Maintenance, public work, new markets? I’d love to hear from operators, GCs, developers, lenders, or anyone who has bought a construction-heavy landscape business. Thanks!
