Solo search vs couple search. Criteria to chose a partner?

Thanks to ^redacted‌ and some others in the community, I've seen age is not an issue, but, in Europe (specifically in France) I've been advised to go on "couple search" with a younger partner to fit criteria in front of investors. This being said, the people that I know, trust and that could be solid partners for this search are in my age bracket###-###-#### Has anyone already proposed a search fund partnership to an intern or young employee working for them during their search ?
