Does anyone have any experience in solar energy? Looking at sales companies in this space that represent Solar manufacturers & sub contract the installation. Interesting business model to me in a growing industry.

Subcontracting is an option, but unfortunately, you would want to have your team do Q/C on the installs. Using the wrong cable type or shady work will fall on you, the owner. Doable, but you need to have vetted installers and verify the quality of work.

Its a human capital intensive model that can see sales leaders and mangers leave after a transaction which can raise a lot of issues. Make sure you have earnouts for those that produce the most sales.
