Software Review Due Diligence

Hello... Does anyone have any experience working with firms who analyze software source code as part of the due diligence process during an acquisition?  I'm looking for an independent analysis of the code, performance, scalability, security and overall DevOps process.  Also, if there are any recommended check list (e.g. reviewing last 12 months of support cases) that would be helpful too.
