Small Business Expo for Sourcing

Do any search funders go to Small Business Expos as part of their sourcing? Curious if buyers attend these events or if its mostly service providers and brokers

I've gone to similar (maybe the same at Javitz here in NY) - from a sourcing / origination perspective, this hasn't been great. They're primarily good for setting meetings in advance since you'll have a concentrated pool of relevant prospects, then working from there. Finally moving from Zoom to a proper coffee and conversation with several people over a day. However, I don't see a significant advantage over alternative tactics. You tend to interact more with sales / BD staff or owner/operators who are in a sales / BD oriented mindset at the time rather than exit per se.
