Curious to get some feedback from this group.
This is my second post here. For those who didn’t see the first, I’m a headhunter working with SMB owners, operators, and PE-backed businesses looking to hire strong operators.
I meet with operators every day. Builders, turnarounds, post-acquisition leaders. People who actually run businesses.
I’m planning to share more write-ups on the people I’m meeting. Who’s in the market, what their backgrounds look like, and what I’m seeing across the operator landscape.
Keeping it practical and useful. Not noise.
Example below:
"Met with a strong operator today who’s starting to look at what’s next.
He’s spent his career in field-heavy businesses. Started in infrastructure and network services, then moved into home services. The kind of environments where hiring, execution, and accountability matter every single day.
Spent time as an advisor to a PE group working on a roll-up across five acquisitions. Focused on integration, building playbooks, and bringing structure to a fragmented setup.
Most recently helped take a retail product and turn it into a service business. Built it from scratch and scaled it to $2M+ in revenue since the end of last year, and just hit a milestone month of $400K. That business is now built, running, and ready to expand nationally.
He’s a builder. Brought in to do a job, executes, and moves the business forward.
Based in the Sun Belt and open to relocation for the right opportunity."
Would welcome feedback on whether this is useful to the group.
Happy hunting.
