SF -

Gene Therapy has a back log of drugs that will be entering the marketplace very soon. This will impact your cost on your medical plan and pharmacy cost. If you are reviewing a self-funded medical plan or have a self-funded medical plan, you need to have a strategy - and excluding may not be the smartest plan of action. (unless you enjoy possible front page articles).

Fully insured plans need to review your current medical plans, so you have insight to how these will be treated on your current plans. Any miscommunication could be problematic - financially.

Finally, since benefit plans are a blind spot for some in the SF space, you may want to start paying more attention to it during your DD, as this is your second highest expense behind payroll. There are some areas you should be focused on to help expose and mitigate risk, unveil the real cost behind your benefit costs. And finally, realize, looking at a benefits program is like an iceberg. It's not what you can see, that will sink the ship - it's what you cannot see!

I help SF see the total picture and the total cost now and in the future, so you have leverage & strategy, before, during and after the LOI period.
