Seller call - bring free website?
I loved finding businesses with terrible websites. Tells me there's meat on the bone (81% of shoppers research their purchases online). Every time I got serious about a deal, I started thinking about the new website I'd build for them. My favorite was a well water company with a small testing-kit business. The sellers and I agreed the testing kit was the highest leverage growth play. Near LOI, I was already on calls with web devs, scoping and pricing a full e-comm site. I was soo excited. Looking back, I wish I'd walked into that seller call with a real website to communicate my vision. They would have loved it. But two years ago websites still cost time and money. Today, they're fast and free. Searchers...would you walk into a seller call with a new website for them? For the right seller, I think it's a power move. Says you're serious, and differentiates you in this increasingly crowded market. I now use a Claude Code skill that makes real websites in 15 minutes for $0. It's specifically trained to avoid AI slop designs. It also works autonomously to iterate via screenshots until final. Full writeup / download free claude skill -> redacted
