Self-funded searcher — repair and maintenance services, Southeast

Hi Searchfunder community — long time listener, first time caller… In February, I began a self-funded search for a repair and maintenance business in the Southeast — businesses that supply labor and parts to keep mission-critical commercial and industrial equipment running. I've spent the last few months cold calling operators and the conversations have been encouraging. What drew me to this space: I've noticed a gap between what owners of mission-critical equipment need from a service provider and what they typically get. Service providers are understandably set up to react to break-fix calls (it’s urgent, after all) and I see an opportunity to collaborate with customers and employees to improve reactive and proactive service delivery. My background is in corporate M&A and service product development at industrial businesses — convenience, fuel distribution, and heavy equipment services. I've spent time with business owners, customers and service providers and am excited to buy and build something that customers value.
