I've been looking for business to purchase for about a year and now I'm now working on putting together my first LOI for a small food brand (which is a great fit with my background). I'm bringing on a lawyer and trying to find a CPA (which has been oddly hard) to support me. The business is in the $250K - $4oo SDE range.

From a valuation perspective, I'd love to hear how others have approached using multiple years of SDE to base an offer on. They've grown a modest amount over the years, but it's been a bit up and down.

In general, I always like to connect to people that are interested the SMBA space. I have 30 years in the CPG space and always happy to help with question related to that space. Look forward to connecting and hearing any advise you might have.
