My Focus
I target “boring,” profitable, and resilient businesses with at least three years of consistent or steadily growing EBITDA in the $2M–$4M range, located in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region, and the Western U.S. My most recent acquisition was a 30-year-old, high-production concrete flatwork company.
My Background
• Early Career – Began at Grant Thornton in tax and audit for small/mid-sized companies. Transitioned to business advisory, helping owners maximize value 2–3 years before sale. After joining a Denver based regional firm, Co-built an M&A practice offering buy- and sell-side diligence, Quality of Earnings, and Fractional CFO services.
• Private Equity Experience – Served as CFO of a PE-backed company; led 4 acquisitions, grew the business 8x, and achieved a successful exit. Later served as CFO and interim CEO for multiple companies.
• Current – In the last year, I acquired Morcrete Construction, a 30-year-old, consistently profitable Pacific Northwest concrete flatwork business serving high-volume homebuilders. Post-close, we’ve strengthened processes, retained and expanded our team, and continued to grow project awards from new and loyal customers as well as a few new customers.
