I’m hoping to connect with other searchers who are using simple, practical outreach to uncover off-market opportunities. I’d be open to putting together a small group where we can share what’s working, swap ideas, and help keep each other moving forward. One area I’m still figuring out is industry focus — I’ve been pretty agnostic so far, letting listed opportunities guide me. Part of my outreach now is also about discovering which industries I want to target. I’m specifically looking to acquire a business in San Diego County, and would love to meet up with other local searchers in person. Hi Ryan. I found a over 7 off-market opportunities in the last 3 months. Hopefully this helps. I would advise you to lock in on an industry before focusing on outreach. Develop a list of parameters, then assess which industries are best for you based on those parameters. For example, you already mentioned one of your parameters being physical location. Once you have that, connect with everyone you can within that industry. The more hands you shake, the more deals you'll make. I would be more than happy to discuss this more privately.

I have a small group of searchers in a Whatsapp community, a lot of them are exploring off-market deals. If required, I can add you there, and you can chat with other searchers.
