I'm a self-funded searcher who recently got under LOI with a landscaping maintenance business serving the Midwest. I'm looking to connect with cash flow-based SBA lenders who might be interested.

Here are the quick stats:

- ~$5m transaction at ~3.7x EBITDA

- $1.3m EBITDA

My background:

- Self-funded searcher full-time for last 2 years

- 2 prior LOIs that I walked away from after due diligence

- Harvard Business School MBA

- Former private equity investor and M&A investment banker

The other posts confirm that there are plenty of great SBA lenders out there. I have a banking friend in Des Moines who I know would be interested and other banking friends in Omaha and Kansas City so DM me if any of those geographies are of particular interest and I’ll make intros. Also fwiw my first acquisition was a landscape maintenance company so I’d also be happy to share that experience if it would be helpful.
