Seeking Partner for Energy Services Acquisition or Energy SaaS Build

Hi all - I’m Ashu, based in Boston, working in the renewable energy space, specifically utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. I have close to a decade of industry experience managing large-capex EPC builds across both commercial and technical fronts. I’m exploring two paths where a business-side partner could add real value: (1) Acquisition in Energy/Energy-Adjacent Services I’m evaluating niche technical service businesses with steady demand and strong sector tailwinds: ESCOs, electrical testing & commissioning firms, substation maintenance providers, specialty EPC contractors, protection & controls services, and compliance/safety companies. I bring deep domain insight and industry access; ideal partner brings deal sourcing, financial modeling, or search experience. (2) Early-Stage Energy SaaS Startup I’m also validating a vertical SaaS product that streamlines design-review and closeout workflows for solar/BESS projects - a major and expensive pain point across EPCs and engineering teams. Early interest is strong, and I’m looking for a partner with product/strategy experience to help shape it into a scalable offering.
