Most options are apps and formal lessons, which means screens and structured sit-down time for a child who is barely old enough to sit still. I'm building something different: a small, friendly robot companion (think Star Wars droid, not tablet) that lives in the child's world. It plays, talks, and reacts to the child, and it speaks only the target language. The child picks the language up the way they pick up their first one, through daily interaction. The parent chooses the language, and the companion does the rest.
