Seeking Input for Partnership with Self-Funded Searchers

Since, I’ve immersed myself in the ETA space over the past few months and have worked with self-funded searchers with varied backgrounds. I’ve identified some areas where I see myself adding value to searchers.

One is properly structuring the deal to be eligible from an SBA standpoint, raising capital from investors, securing the SBA loan, and providing an advisory team to help with due diligence and post close mentorship.

Being an SBA lender for over ten years with an expertise in leveraged buyouts is how I can add value but I also have a great network of advisors and mentors that could aid the searcher in being successful.

Considering the range of companies already offering these services in this space, I'm curious about how the economics work.

Whether you've partnered with similar companies in the past or have insights from the industry, I would greatly appreciate your input on what information self-funded searchers are generally willing to share regarding deal economics if they partner with a firm that offer these services.
