Why so much interest in the HVAC space? I understand it has been historically fragmented, but, are switching costs for customers that high that revenues will recur irrespective of price increase?

Hey Jonathan…I’ve been in the industry for 20 years. My interest stems from utilizing my experience, knowledge, and network as an advantage. From the macro perspective, it’s a non-cyclical industry that provides an essential service, particularly in the extreme weather areas. There is a replacement cycle and the equipment must (should be) serviced by a trained technician under a licensed contractor (barrier to entry.) There are opportunities to evolve businesses thru effective operation and technology, and at the same time will not be replaced by AI (in my lifetime at least.)
