Hi all, I am in Colorado Springs and I am looking for someone who is interested in a Searcher-in-Residence role (compensated based on base salary + bonus incentive aligned to business growth and/or secondary acquisition success fee). I own a commercial construction company that operates from Pueblo, CO to Denver, CO. The ideal candidate would be someone eager to: - Spend 3-6 months learning my current business (Sales/Estimating, Finance, Operations) and identifying efficiencies, growth plan, etc. - Spend 3-6 months identifying and resolving a handful of strategic projects through automation, hiring, or developing codified systems/processes. Examples of strategic projects include (but not limited to): Material Purchasing System & Reconciliation, Inventory Management System, developing niche commercial construction roll up thesis and pitch deck, and building out analysis for de novo territory based in Boulder. Following the 6 to 12 months of operational experience outlined above (and assuming a strong professional working relationship), the SIR will shift their focus exclusively to identifying a follow on acquisition. Based on Searcher's preference, I will happily entertain the following scenarios: -Searcher to provide financing with a sizable equity injection from me. -I will provide financing and equity, Searcher to earn equity through rolled acquisition success fee and performance metrics as the Operator - Searcher to remain in core business (commercial construction) and earn equity through performance metrics as the Operator, while I operate the follow on acquisition. If you know of anyone interested, please have them reach out here or at redacted

This sounds like a great opportunity. Denver is full of ETA hopefuls and most don't yet know how tough it is. I am surprised this post is not LIT UP.
