Seeking buy-side legal team in Canada

Hey community, are there any standout referrals for a buy-side legal team or individual who has proven to be a common-sense partner for SME M&A work? We use Marshall Pawar (MEP Law) out of Vancouver and have been happy with them. They are a little cheaper than some of the other big players I've used while working in my former private equity role previously. I've also heard good things about Mario & his Stikeman team. Not sure if you are still looking but can't recommend ^redacted‌ more highly. His ability to balance legal risks and doing what is needed to get the deal done, but offering business-oriented mindset is rare based on many lawyers I've interviewed. Email him at redacted and let him know I sent you!
